PROCEDURE OF APPLICATION AND ADMISSION

  • REC takes responsibility of sending qualified students for their higher education and take care them until their graduation.
  • Those students who wish to study in Russia have to register with REC by filling in the official application form to begin the process of admission.
  • Applicant should submit copy of O/L and A/L certificates which is certified by Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
  • REC will submit these applicants to the dean’ office of the respective faculties.
  • REC will then select the applicant on the basis of terms and conditions of admission dictated by the chosen Medical Institution, the Government of Russia, and the respective student’s countries.
  • Students selected are then provided with an Admission Letter and a Visa supporting letter (invitation) through REC
  • REC will inform them in this respect and submit documents for Visa process.
  • Guide all medical students to register at SLMC prior to departure.
  • Assisting the student with all necessary information and guidance till their departure from their country
  • Arrange translations and processing documents according to university requirements.
  • Helps students in obtaining foreign currency.
  • Provide students with a list of required items needed during their studies in Russia.
  • Explain to the candidate the main demands of Russia laws, rules for students in higher educational institutions, rules of residence and traveling within the territory of Russia.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

  • Higher Education Certificate (Certified by the Foreign Ministry of their country)
  • Birth Certificate (Translated by a recognized Govt. translator)
  • A valid passport.
  • Physical & Mentally Fitness Certificate & Compulsory Medical check- up with AIDS test.
  • 20 photographs, size 3 * 4cm, black & white on matt paper.

SERVICES ON THE FIRST ARRIVAL OF THE CANDIDATE TO RUSSIA

  • REC will take the responsibility and security of bringing the student to the University with an Officer of REC.
  • Refreshments and telephone facility to contact home on arrival in Moscow.
  • Food supplement for the first few days.
  • Arranging of fully furnished hostels & accommodation before students arrive.
  • Assisting in official work to register the students & necessary documents with passport control authority. REC will support the students to be aware of rules & regulations of the education institutions and to adapt students to the environment & to travel in Russia.
  • Conducting especial classes with Sri Lankan doctors for preparation of ERPM exams during the University Studies,
